Promoter History
The Abilene Youth Sports Authority (AYSA) is the result of a grand vision of creating a better environment for the youth of Abilene and the Big Country by stimulating community pride, helping volunteer-run youth sports organizations, and promoting a spirit of cooperation within youth sports. These cooperative efforts, through the central functions of AYSA, will provide the building blocks for the growth of youth sports; will increase the quality of current youth recreational leagues; will generate more tourism revenue for Abilene by hosting more local youth sporting events; will provide growth in the character and community pride of families through sports education and training programs.
